Manchester United winger Nani is reportedly the surprise omission from the list of six PFA Player of the Year nominees, although team-mate Nemanja Vidic is included in the list. Nemanja Vidic will be now competiting with Manchester City's Carlos Tevez, Tottenham's Gareth Bale, Arsenal's Samir Nasri and two tail enders Blackpool's Charlie Adam and West Ham's Scott Parker.
Vidic has now the challenge to keep up the streak of United winning it 4 consecutive time. Cristiano Ronaldo 2 times, Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney 1 each. Though Vidic has been included for his superb performance back on pitch but its quite surprising that Nani has not been included on this list despite coming up with his superb appearence on pitch with huge bunch of assists and goals.
