Sir Alex Upset Of Failed Gibson Switch

Sunderland, the club that signed Wes Brown and John O'Shea from Manchester United this summer transfer season was reported to have made offer also for Darron Gibson. But they completed signing Brown and O'Shea  but Darron Gibson was left out from joining the team at Stadium of Light.

"He was at the point of going to Sunderland and somewhere along the line, I don't know exactly when, I think Sunderland moved the goalposts," said Sir Ferguson.
"I suppose their job is to try and save money.
"From what I can gather, they gave him an offer and then changed it."

Sir Alex Ferguson was upset that Darron was not able to complete a move to Sunderland because of the irresponsible behaviour. Darron who looks lack of his future at Old Trafford, probably needed a switch to club where he can get a first team appearence.
"Darron was undecided about what to do when we made the group up to come here - and we both felt he'd be better staying back," added Ferguson.
"He seems to be in limbo at the moment."

Transfer Analysis: Phil Jones, Ashley Young and David De Gea

Manchester United have signed 3 players so far in this transfer season. Phil Jones first as a defender, Ashley Young second as Midfielder and David De Gea as No.1 goalkeeper. We are giving a brief analysis on them.

1.Phil Jones
The 19 year old Blackburn Rovers defender was the first player to sign this transfer window. With amazing performance on an average club earlier makes him worth signing. He has impressed everyone with his game. Being already selected in the U-21 England squad, he is considered to be the better pair for other youngster Chris Smalling. He is said to be future England captain, the successor for John Terry. He might not be in the peak of his career but he looks confident in making it. He has enough years to prove him. We rate his signing 7 out of 10.

2. Ashley Young
The Aston Villa man, with amazing skills in the middle has signed for Manchester United. He had remarkable run this season with a number of goals and bunch of assist. He is certainly the worthy player for United, who can fill the vacant space at the middle of field. He can make assist well, and even can play attack as well. He has best freekicks too. He can quickly be a regular part of United starting squad if he keeps his form. He is also young, energetic and good enough to replace our beloved Scholes. We rate his signing 9 out of 10.

3. David De Gea
He is probably the best and the most influencial signing for Manchester United. He was the really needed man for United. After the retirement of Van De Sar, there was the biggest question. He has better number of save in a comparitively poor defense. We welcome him. He'll certainly be the No.1 for long years. We rate his arrival as 9 out of 10.
